    | 2023 06 15 Alpe Adria trail day 8 We walked down from the restaurant in whoes garden the horses were grazing and I slepped under my tarp.in pouring rain. But there is nothing like the drumming of raindrops on your tarp. Loving it. When we finally hit the bottom of Moelltall valley after 4 hours we found a guesthouse where we ordered some beer and ice coffee. From there on we trottet the next 20 km up to Rackowitzen, where we were recommended to a private stable Lisa Kropp from a lady in a 2. restaurant we found on the way. Arkan can walk a top speed of 9plus kmh for long distance while Mansur is jogging alongside. I am very happy how the two horses have handled themselves on this trip till now having covered more than 310 km in 7 days. Mansu is doing much better with trucks by now and in the next days he will have to proof his willingness to handle difficult situations in the mountains. We reached Rackowitzen shortly after 4 pm and were able to shower and wash our clothes, our horses grazing happily in a freshly cut field. We had Pizza and enjoyed the hospitality. 40 km  |
