2023 06 11 Alpe Adria trail day 4
We started in the park and rode up a small trail to the pass Vriscu 1611 m. On the trail there was a tree that had pulled down other trees blocking the trail. I had to cut through one to open a way for the horses to climb around the obstacle. Mansu had his moments of impatience the day before so i asked Gee to let me take him around the fallen trees. Instead of waiting as i asked he pushed through and got ahead of me. An absolute no go. Has not happened on all of last years trails. He got a proper scolding and from this moment forward at least you could tell that he tried to be patient. We reached the summit at about 10 and walked the horses down the other side to Kraniska Gora. After Lunch we rode up the next overpass into Austria at 1700 m and hit the pass with no name at about 4 in the afternoon. 2 hours later after a steep t2 decent and hitting the ground a couple times, Mansur sliddering behind me but now at least respecting me and listening to my commands, we hit a farmhouse and restaurant above Villach in Austria. 34 km and 1700 m of elevation 51 Lkm
